Rudolph the Play
About 2 weeks ago I got to go see a friends play, and it was really good. Although I seem to always forget to bump up my ISO in situations like this, but I did shoot in RAW so I was able to bring them back

Dickens on the Strand
Every year in December Galveston, Texas put's on an event called Dickens on the Strand.
The event is a reenactment of the Victorian era. So you have a lot of people in costume and there are some comedians and magicians, there's even a bed race.
Unfortunately we went on the second day of the even and only for the last few hours. So there wasn't as much going on.
Although I did catch the end of the parade they did.
This is one of the shows they had. She did juggling, magic and a a few other things.
This is actually a choir from the Christian school down the street from our house.
There were also these really cool lamp posts that use really fire instead of light bulbs.
I know my post are few and far between but that is partly because I have been really busy.
I am actually falling behind on things to post about.
So be expecting quite a few post soon.

Dance Recital
So the other day I had the honor of going to see a friends dance recital, which also gave me a great opportunity.
I chose to use only my 35mm and Lensbaby at this event so I could get more familiar with them. I didn't really get to move around and change my angles, but I enjoyed watching the recital and who knows maybe I will be on the stage next year! xD

The Hunting Trip
Well I am back now, and I had a lot of fun. But I didn't really get to take a lot of pictures, especially of wildlife. We were so busy trying to put some meat in the freezer that I didn't get to take pictures from the stand.
But I did get some landscape photos. :)
There wasn't a single cloud in the sky until we were leaving, and I am really not a big fan of cloudless landscape pictures but I think these came out pretty well.
These last 4 were taken with my lensbaby. :) The more I use it the more I love it, it is an amazing little lens.
Please let me know what you think!
