Dance Recital

So the other day I had the honor of going to see a friends dance recital, which also gave me a great opportunity.

I chose to use only my 35mm and Lensbaby at this event so I could get more familiar with them.  I didn't really get to move around and change my angles, but I enjoyed watching the recital and who knows maybe I will be on the stage next year! xD

How'd you get those shots? Usually it's rather hard to get any good pictures in dark places like that. Great job!

@Allison

I was using my 35mm f/1.8 lens and my Lensbaby at f/2.8. With the aperture open real wide like that it allows more light in.

Another way to get better pictures in low light is to bump up the ISO, now that can make your pictures noisy if you put it to high for your camera to handle.

You did a really great job on these! My favorites are the 8th photo, and the ones you took with the lensbaby. Very nice!

It was such a blessing and honor for you and your family to come. :-)

That would be awesome if you and Moriah take next year!
